There’s a little more to it than that…

Young People receive a wide variety of Sex and Relationships Education (SRE).

Where it’s good, it is inclusive and informative; but when it’s bad, it can be ideological and unsafe. Most involves a spattering information of information about STIs and how to put a condom on a banana… But there’s a little bit more to it than that.

We believe all young people should have the opportunity to learn about sex and relationships in a safe, non-judgemental setting.

We want a Sex and Relationship Education (SRE) fit for the 21st Century. This should:

  • Teach issues around porn and sexting
  • Include LGBT+ relationships and gender identity
  • Talk about body image and pleasure
  • Teach about consent, refusal and harassment
